The Mill & Old Swan offers a satisfying blend of Cotswold stone and half timbering dating back 600 years. The Oxfordshire Cotswolds includes the historic market towns of Burford, Chipping Norton, Witney and Woodstock.
The Mill and Old swan stands in a 60 acre estate along the banks of the River Windrush in the picturesque village of Minster Lovell. This charming split centre, offers a wealth of oak beams and roaring log fires to welcome you. In the summer, enjoy drinks on the terrace overlooking the river. The Swan restaurant is open for Lunch and Dinner daily. A fantastic choice from the daily bar menu and a carvery at weekends. In the evening enjoy a delicious meal prepared by our talented chefs.
During December the hotel is very popular for Christmas parties so the restaurant may be closed on certain dates. Please check when making your reservation.

By car. Exit m40 at junction 8 (coming from the South) and junction 9 (coming from the North) taking the a40 or a34 respectively towards Oxford. Once on the Oxford ring road, follow signs for Cheltenham a40. Approximately 14 miles after Oxford, take the slip road signposted to 'Carteron, Minster Lovell'. Turn right at junction and travel through Minster Lovell. Turn right at T-junction and immediately left down the Valley. Left over the stone bridge and The Mill and Old Swan Reception is on your left.
